Does your event need a storybook location?
Share in Rubicon’s authentic, nearly 200 year-old history. A countryside location featuring an 1820s house and grounds for a variety of events.
A little background: Rubicon Farm is a private property that has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978. Built by the Black family in the 1820s and once 1000 acres of pine trees harvested for pitch, the Cole family assumed the property through marriage in the 1850s and owned Rubicon until 1968 when a series of new owners undertook periodic restorations of the Federal-style house.
The current owners bought Rubicon in 2005 and turned the house into a comfortable getaway for their family, and now offers it as a venue for weddings and showers, corporate retreats, club meetings, pig-pickings and barbecues, parties with live music and more. The owner will also teach cooking classes by request.
